Timers
Timers post a message in chat every few minutes, like a reminder to follow or a link to your Discord. Manage them in Bot > Timers.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | A name for you, must be unique |
| Message | What the bot posts |
| Stream state | Online only (default), Offline only or Both |
| Online interval | Minutes between posts while you are live, 1 to 720. Default 15 |
| Offline interval | Minutes between posts while offline. Leave empty to never post offline |
| Min chat lines | How many chat messages must be sent since the last post, 0 to 100. Default 5 |
A timer posts when its interval has passed and enough people chatted since it last posted. Fishrift checks once a minute, so a timer can be up to a minute late.
Good to know
- Timers post on every connected platform.
- Timers fill in
{channel}and{uptime}. Other variables are posted as typed. - Each timer can be switched on and off, and shows when it last posted.
Tip: set Min chat lines to a few messages so the bot doesn't talk to an empty chat.
